FOUNDATION THOUGHT:-

  • The thought behind "Navchetna Special School" was independency in the lives of differently able...thought to make a better and secure place in the society where differently-able can live free with minimum barriers and maximum acceptance. At National Institute of mentally handicapped, Delhi we as students, were dealing with poor families coming from every corners of the country with pain in their hearts and burdens in their hands, they shared and pent up their emotions with heartfelt stories. They were helpless for their kids.

  • This gave us an inspiration to work for these helpless kids, so that they (Disables) can achieve independency in every aspect of their life.

  • It was the initiative by Navchetna that after a successful workshop in Hoshiarpur, we opened special school to facilitate services to every kind of condition or disability.

  • And on 5th of September'2011, with three kids and three professionals we started our school. It is a very mesmerized moment for us.

KEEPING, ITS CURRENT PROGRESSIVE GROWTH , IN VIEW, WE ARE ABLE TO VISUALIZE AND MAKE THE FOLLOWING FUTURE PLANS FOR THE WELFARE OF THE NEGLECTED PART OF OUR SOCIETY...

THE SCHOOL THE CLINIC
Our organization works as a school for the children who are differently able in the morning from 8:30am to 1 pm (timings are subject to seasons).We work as a team to focus on quality, positive outcomes, improvement, building trust and strong relationship. We take every type of neurological, physical, speech and language, hearing, Visual, sensory, learning, behavioral, attention problems. In the afternoon from 1:30 pm to 6pm, it works as a clinical centre to deal with early intervention cases, follow up cases, slow learner, cases with learning difficulties. Cases that need limited therapies and are going to normal school or age having above 15 years are taken under clinical timings to give them supportive therapies.
